The Tengu
The Tengu were once very good people and lived as protectors of the castle walls. Although these Tengu used to be on the same side as the Tenshi, now they are cursed by evil spirits and now help out the side of the bad guys. These creatures are long nosed goblins in book one and are actually mythical folklore in Japan. They help the bad guys rule the land in which Master Magregor is held captive. The Ninja were known to have dressed up like these creatures to scare their enemy. Some say they were real and only the select few really know and Cody, Merrick and Teal find out first hand in book one.
All of these tales come alive in The Warrior Kids World - book one called "The Three Kings" by Allie Alberigo.
